A Big Brother's Battles

Poor Tanzanite. He loves his little sisters so very much, he can't say no to either of them. Which causes things like this to happen.

Introducing two new characters. Crystal Comet's siblings, her older brother Tanzanite Star, and her little sister Moonstone.
In this picture, Tanzanite is about 13 years old, Crystal is about 8 years old, and Moonstone is about 6 years old. (Go onto Crystal's ref and use these ages and her actual age to figure out how old their 'current' ages are. If you want to know.) Or there abouts. Tanz does look a bit more like an adult though, that's mostly because when I drew this I wasn't 100% certain on the age gap between each of the siblings. And I'm not very good at differentiating ages when I'm drawing my ponies.. Oh well. I'll get there.

Basically, both Crystal and Moonstone want to play a game or something with their brother, but they want to play different things, and he can't say no to one knowing it'll upset the other, which has caused this.. predicament.. to occur. Moonstone just wants to have fun and play with her big brother. But Crystal's stubborn streak is showing, and she wants her brother to herself.

I've actually had Moonstone since November last year. I adopted her from poliejades2 back then, but never got around to doing anything with her. When I was piecing Crystal's family together a few months ago, I remembered that I had that filly sat with no name, no story, no nothing. Upon spotting that she's kinda similar to Crystal, I thought I'd make them sisters. And then I made Tanzanite on a whim as I felt they needed a brother too.
I've actually finished the artwork for Moonstone's ref, and will be posting that once I've finished writing the bio out. Tanz's will appear soon too, the sketch work is done, just need to vector it and all that. His bio will explain why his feathers are damaged and why even at the young age of 13 he's still got scars. All will be explained. His cutie mark is a bit of a place-holder. I like it, but it might change.

And for the record, Crystal takes more after their mother, whilst Moon and Tanz take more after their father. Hence the similarities between them and differences in her.
